Joe Bohna Receives 2024 Jim Jenkel
Every year, Pearl recognizes one employee with the Jim Jenkel Memorial Service Award. Created in memory of Jim Jenkel (a valued Pearl employee who suddenly passed away the evening of the Pearl Christmas Party in 1992), this highly esteemed award is presented in his honor during the holiday luncheon.
With so many wonderful employees, receiving this honor is no easy achievement. Recipients demonstrate the traits that made Jim Jenkel great: extraordinary dedication, effort, loyalty, and an unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality of service to our customers.
So, each year, managers submit their nominations, and members of the Executive Leadership Team review and select a recipient. Winners receive a plaque and monetary reward.
Our 2024 recipient is described as an exemplary employee who demonstrates our team’s commitment to outstanding job performance and unwavering dedication to the company’s people, integrity, innovation, and excellence. Through his unwavering devotion to team development, Pearl, and our customers, this person has gained the respect of their co-workers and leadership.
