Interpretation Systems
Overview
Digi-Wave, a brand of Williams Sound, has interpretation systems that are great in any setting that requires translation, including:
- Conferences
- Courtrooms
- Hospitals
- Corporate meetings
- Classrooms
- Houses of worship
- And more!
System Description
Around the world, including Boeing, World Bank, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Nestle Dubai Manufacturing LLC in Dubai, UAE, companies are using this interpretation system for business every day. With this system, the DLT 300 units are set up as one-way transmitters, each assigned to a separate channel. Then, each Interpreter uses a DLT 300 to transmit their voice to the audience.
How It Works
The system works like this:
- Presenter speaks into existing microphone and DLT 300 transceiver.
- Interpreter listens to Presenter’s message.
- Interpreter interprets the message into a second language, speaking into their headset microphone.
- Participants with Digi-Wave transceivers or receivers can select and listen to one of 14 channels – the speaker or an interpreted message.
Audience members will use a DLR 360 Receiver to select the channel they want to hear. Any number of receivers can be used.
