Pearl Technology Joins Alliance with Two Companies

Alliance combines IT expertise for added security and connectivity.

PEORIA HEIGHTS, Ill. — Pearl Technology has recently joined forces with CIAN and A5 to offer businesses even greater security and connectivity in computer-based information systems.

“We currently have many area businesses that rely on our expertise for help with their IT security and infrastructure,” Dave Johnson, president of Pearl Technology, said, “and we’re always looking for more ways to keep them connected to what matters most in their businesses. This partnership positions us to help address ever-increasing technology needs.”

Johnson said staff in the three companies remains the same, but the alliance provides businesses with access to even more services and IT solutions in today’s complex digital world.

As the IT infrastructure and managed services provider, Pearl Technology now combines expertise with these area businesses:

Steve Hope—the owner and operator of CIAN and A5—said the alliance with Pearl Technology provides a more complete IT package to clients for greater connectivity and protection.

“Our fast-paced, digital society is being challenged by dynamic and extremely volatile, yet effective, hackers,” Hope said. “We have always put data and physical security first and foremost. The time has come to get IT companies to work together, not in competition. This effort brings a larger group of experts together to ensure our customers a better cyber-safe computer environment in Central Illinois. The synergetic effect of this action means we will have the largest, unparalleled assembly of specialists in this area.”

A retired U.S. Navy officer, Hope has spent much of his life on defense—first, for the United States and then helping businesses defend against malicious hackers.

“There are too many independent, uncertified, and over-priced individuals in this area attempting to provide sophisticated technical expertise to local companies. This area deserves more; the growing concerns over cybersecurity demand larger, better equipped teams who work together. It makes sense for our companies to join forces,” Hope continued.

“Pearl Technology has excelled at providing protection and IT services to businesses for many years, and this partnership makes it easy to seamlessly expand those solutions,” Hope added. “Together, we specialize in managed services, infrastructure, data security, private cloud and hosting, colocation, and innovative power technology solutions… everything a company needs to remain connected with security, network installation, support, and administration.”

The alliance combines the IT expertise of:

  • Pearl Technology, one of the Pearl Companies, has provided IT solutions to businesses for more than 35 years.
  • CIAN is recognized as an industry expert in information technology security, network installation, support, and administration. In business since 1990, CIAN helps ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT networks.
  • A5 offers consulting, hosting, managing, and monitoring of technology. With two geographically diverse data centers in Central Illinois and a staff of experienced engineers, A5 serves a variety of technology needs.

The companies have created a video with more information on the alliance. Check it out at PearlTechnology.com.
