How He Serves

Lance joined the team in December 2025 and works out of the Peoria Heights office. For him, a typical day involves meeting with clients to discuss technology solutions. In addition, he meets with the sales and operations teams at Pearl Technology to assist with creating these solutions. “Having been a competitor in my previous roles,” Lance said, “I often admired the professionalism the Pearl Technology team displayed. I’ve also worked with some of the current employees over the years. My experience with this team and the company drew me to see an opportunity here.” Lance also enjoys having the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients. “I feel my vast experience in the audiovisual industry, along with my leadership and problem-solving skills, allows me to be a valuable part of the team.” A Certified Technology Specialist, Lance has consistently met sales quotas and received sales excellence awards. He received his AVIXA certification in 2013. “I’ve learned a lot about cybersecurity and data centers in my short time with the company, and I can see how Pearl Technology will continue to grow in what they provide in these areas. There’s just so much changing every day. It’s great to see Pearl Technology on the leading edge of it!”

What His Experience Means

Lance brings more than 30 years of professional sales experience to his new position. Before joining the team at Pearl Technology, he spent the previous 13 years serving as a vice president of system integration and an account executive for another audio-visual integrator in the area. While there, he managed a portfolio of accounts, ensuring the timely delivery of products that resulted in high levels of customer satisfaction. An effective decision maker, Lance has directed strategic planning initiatives that help to achieve company goals and align with market trends. He is experienced in making operations more efficient and enhancing productivity across multiple departments and can help businesses to achieve these goals with technology solutions.

What Sustains Him

Lance is grounded by his faith, family, and great friends. A motto he often uses is “progress over perfection.” He once had a mentor who encouraged everyone to try to get 1% better every day. “I have been in this community for almost 30 years,” he said. “I currently live with my wife outside of Peoria, but most of my time was in Morton. I’ve been married to my lovely wife, Denise, for many years. We have two adult children and two grandsons. We also have an amazing dog we adopted from an animal shelter about 9 years ago. She keeps us entertained.” In his free time, Lance enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, biking, and jogging. He also enjoys watching sports, cooking, and grilling on his Big Green Egg.
