As the AI Success Manager at Pearl Technology, Simeon Rinkenberger works with clients to help them see the value of artificial intelligence as a tool that empowers their day-to-day operations and helps to solve real-world problems.
How He Serves
Working from the Peoria Heights headquarters, Simeon joined the team in February 2026. His role is part of the company’s new AI department, where he’s spearheading Pearl Tech’s AI initiatives. Simeon is also helping to launch a 12-month AI implementation program for local businesses.
“I’ll manage the implementation program for our customers,” Simeon explained. “Since this technology is still new to many businesses and a new endeavor at Pearl Technology, my role is continually evolving. Right now, much of my time goes into laying the groundwork: building out the program, identifying where AI can move the need for small businesses, and getting our internal teams comfortable with the tools.”
As with any technology, AI is expanding quickly, and Simeon is excited about what he can bring to Pearl Technology and our clients.
What His Experience Means
Prior to joining Pearl Tech’s team, Simeon was finishing his MBA in Management at California Baptist University. He also worked as Head of Intranet Development at the university’s Naval Postgraduate School Partnership. Before that, he was a software engineering intern at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona Division in California.
Simeon also completed his undergraduate training at California Baptist University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering. Simeon has built many AI-power tools and applications in his career, which gives him a real feel for where AI can deliver value to a business… and where it can fall short. With proven skills as an AI-focused software engineer, he has hands-on experience delivering AI-enabled products end-to-end.
The founder of his own business in California last August, Simeon served as AI Implementation Lead, where he designed, built, and deployed a publicly available AI-enabled multiplayer mobile application independently, leveraging AI tools to compress development timelines that would typically require a full cross-functional team.
“That practical perspective is what I lean on most in this role,” Simeon added. “I was drawn to Pearl Tech after meeting Anthony Mini at their Pearl Technology Showcase last September. Anthony told me about plans to build Pearl Tech’s AI expertise, and I shared some of the AI projects I’d been working on… we hit it off and realized our goals aligned.”
Simeon really loves that no two days are the same at Pearl Tech. “We’re constantly trying new things, and that keeps the work genuinely interesting. It’s my goal to contribute to Pearl Tech’s growth by helping our clients understand how AI can empower their day-to-day operations, not as a buzzword but as a tool that can solve real problems. I believe AI will become a much bigger part of how every business operates, and I want Pearl Tech to be the partner that helps our community navigate that shift well.”
What Sustains Him
“On a personal note, I recently got married on June 11th,” Simeon said. “So, my wife (Hailey) and I are settling into our new home in Morton, Illinois.”
Outside of work, Simeon enjoys running, hiking, and lifting, and he loves trying new restaurants. He’s also proud of swimming in the NCAA Division 1 while in college and earning his MBA.
“The biggest lesson Pearl Tech has taught me so far is that a good idea, paired with the willingness to act on it, is often all it takes to get something off the ground. Pearl Tech has given me the room to test ideas quickly, and I’ve watched small concepts turn into real initiatives in a matter of weeks. It’s exciting and rewarding at the same time.”
